Evan Harris speaks at @ 'One Law for All' rally against Sharia Law

Liberal Democrat MP Evan Harris spoke at a recent rally against Sharia Law.

Held to mark Universal Children's Day and International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, a rally took place in Hyde Park on 21st November. Other speakers included A.C. Grayling, Maryam Namazie (One Law for All) Naomi Phillips from the British Humanist Association and Keith Porteous Wood, executive director of the National Secular Society.

Evan concluded "It is secular liberal democracies that guarantee both religious freedom and human rights, in a way that religious states can not and do not."
